Gina Ortiz Jones for San Antonio Mayor
Meet Gina
Gina Ortiz Jones understands the challenges our community faces and will always fight for us. A native of San Antonio, Gina attended our local public schools and went to college with help from an Air Force ROTC scholarship. She served as an intelligence officer in the Air Force during the Iraq War and later returned to San Antonio to care for her mother after she was diagnosed with cancer.
As Mayor, Gina will fight for working families — not corporate funders or mega-donors. Gina will prioritize:
Transparency and holding City Hall accountable to the taxpayers
Public safety and supporting local law enforcement
Housing affordability and holding corporate landlords and investors accountable for their role in the housing crisis
Affordable access to early childhood education and affordable childcare
